Who is behind the app

ADHDTime is developed and published by Hayim Sarfati, an individual developer in Israel. Questions about this policy go to hayimsarfati@gmail.com.

What the app collects

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no profile, no identifier, no location, no contacts, no microphone access, and no usage tracking.

What stays on your phone

The app saves your own settings so it can start with one tap: your presets (a name, a target time or a duration, and an interval), your chosen ramp, and app settings such as language and output mode. This data is written to the app's private storage on your device, is never transmitted, and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.

Permissions, and why each one exists

• Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM) — announcements have to land at the moment they are due. Without exact alarms, Android battery optimisation silently delays or skips them, which defeats the purpose of the app.
• Foreground service and notifications — a running countdown shows an ongoing notification so Android keeps it alive with the screen off, and so you can stop it without opening the app.
• No internet permission. The app does not request network access at all.

Text-to-speech

Announcements are spoken by the text-to-speech engine already installed on your device. The app hands that engine only the sentence to speak — for example "twenty minutes". It never sends your presets or any other information.

Which engine that is, and whether it processes text on the device or in the cloud, is set by you in Android's system settings and governed by that engine's own privacy policy (for most phones, Google's). ADHDTime has no control over, and no visibility into, that engine.

Google Play

If you install the app from Google Play, Google collects installation and diagnostic information under Google's privacy policy. Crash and performance reports may be shown to the developer through Play Console in aggregated form. That data comes from Google, not from anything the app sends, and it does not identify you to the developer.

Children

The app is not directed at children and, since it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

Your rights

Rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data apply to data a developer holds about you. There is none here. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it or clear its storage. If you want that confirmed in writing, write to hayimsarfati@gmail.com and you will get an answer.

Changes

If the app ever starts collecting anything — it has no plans to — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the effective date above will change.
